1. Introductions, apologies and substitutions
1.1 The Chair welcomed everybody to the meeting. There were no apologies.
2. Inquiry into the Regeneration of Town Centres : Evidence Session
2.1 The Chair welcomed Lee Waters, Liz Thorne, and Clive Campbell to meeting. Members questioned the witnesses.
2.2 Sustrans agreed to provide further information on:
· Evidence about the impact of developing cycle routes, and pedestrian routes, on town centres.
· Evidence about numbers travelling to town either by car or by more sustainable means
3. Inquiry into the Regeneration of Town Centres : Evidence Session
3.1 The Chair welcomed Carole-Anne Davies, Alan Francis, Jennifer Stewart and Ian Morrison to the meeting. Members questioned the witnesses.
3.2 Heritage Lottery Fund agreed to provide:
· Summary of the Heritage Lottery Fund survey of Townscape Heritage initiatives regarding Town Centre Regeneration.
· A copy of the evaluation report of the townscape initiative scheme.
